EPS Capital Corp. (EPS) is a global consulting company specializing in the development and financing of energy efficiency (EE) Projects and Energy Services Companies (ESCOs), most recently in Indonesia and other Asian countries where the market is constrained by limited EE project finance, technical and development capacity. EPS has performed many EE consulting assignments for the Asian Development Bank, World Bank, USAID, DANIDA and other global development entities that focus on EE and ESCO capacity building in developing countries.
The owners of EPS, Thomas K. Dreessen and Bruce K. Colburn, have been active in ESCO-type work since the industry’s inception in the U.S. in 1981. They have successfully formed, owned and operated ESCOs in 10 countries and developed EE Projects in over 30 countries. They have a very unique EE expertise in industrial facilities, having analyzed energy utilization, identified EE opportunities, performed investment grade audits, designed, financed, implemented and measured & verified savings of performance-based EE Projects in a variety of complex industrial processes. This has required them to learn how to integrate energy efficiency improvements with the different energy reliability and supply requirements of each type of industrial plant in order to enhance its overall energy utilization, process productivity, environmental and financial results.
